KI Free Game Rewards/ Sorcerer Tips

KI Free Games are starting to give out some awesome awards! So far in Sorcery Stones I have won 150 gold and a Ram mount, and in Doodle Dug, on Level 12, I have won 500 gold and a Bengal Tiger mount. 100 gold and a Staff of Imperator can also be earned on Doodle Dug. And I should forget about the Mega Snack Pack that I got from level 4 on Dueling Diego! Over here to the right is the Tawny Ram mount I won. Both the Tiger and the Ram are 7 day rentals, and have a 40% speed boost.

Okay, now for the second topic: Tips for Sorcerers in the Pyramid of the Sun. First of all, most of the creatures in Krokotopia know Elemental Magic, so be sure to always have some Elementals
Shields in your deck. They will help you out a lot when battling higher rank monsters. Another little tip is to have some Weakness and Black Mantle cards when battling bosses. The third rank spells can really hurt, so if you don't have any shields left, either weaken it, or just make it fizzle.

Oh yes, I almost forgot! Today I saw some pretty rare pets that I haven't seen in a while. Is it because of Petapalooza?? Or the Pet Sale in the Crowns Shop??

Krokotopian Adventures

Usually, it is hard to be sympathetic towards enemies in the Spiral. I mean, they attack you for no reason and try to knock you out (or in some cases, already have). Sometimes I want to scream "What did I do wrong?" when I get attacked when I'm walking on the edge of the sidewalk. I believe that the Chamber of the Charmed has changed my opinion on Manders, though (especially the cage). They look so pitiful walking around in circles like that. Their cruel oppression from the Tuts, and their sad history has made me a bit more kind-hearted towards them. Oh yea, and by "kind-hearted", I mean that I wont overkill and I will try to use more of my weaker spells on them. All good fun :)

I was wondering about something today while I was wandering through the Pyramid of the Sun. Why is it that the Order of the Fang, who are mostly Kroks, wrote the Krokonomicon? The Krokonomicon is a book of Life and Death magic, and yet I have not seen a single Life or Death Krok. They are all Elemental or Balance. How strange...

Also, I don't get why all the Lv 18 School Quests have to involve talking to Niles. What's so special about him?? Anyway, I have no Crowns left to buy the Krokosphinx area yet, so it looks like I'll have to wait for my subscription to continue with that.

Tomorrow I hope to level up my Necromancer a bit more, and finish Firecat Alley. In my opinion, Firecat Alley is the hardest of the 3 Olde Town streets. Then again, that's only my opinion.

Welcome to Balance of Life and Death!

Hello! I'm Olivia Swiftbane and I would like to welcome you to my new blog, A Balance of Life and Death. I created this blog to mainly to record the adventures of my Sorcerer (Olivia Swiftbane), my Theurgist (Rachel Dawnflower) and my Necromancer (Grace Moondust). So if you see my characters in the game, don't be afraid to say hello! Most of the time I play in the Drake realm or the Phoenix realm.

I will also be recording little things I pick up along my journey through the spiral here, and any events from DoaW that I get to participate in. Right now, I'm a Crowns player, but I hope to get a subscription soon and not be stuck in Krokotopia for the rest of my wizardly life :P

Anyway, today I was listening to the Ravenwood Radio (http://www.ravenwoodradio.com/) and am sorry to say that I did miss the Ravenwood Ball. I was out of town with no internet at the time, and I dearly wish I had been there. Well, thanks for reading and keep your eye out for more posts!
